Abbey Lee Kershaw Once Said,

“I like people with depth, I like people with emotion, I like people with a strong mind, an interesting mind, a twisted mind, and also someone that can make me smile.”

Same thing goes for me.

I don’t like 2D people who don’t have their own input and opinions. I enjoy talking to people who offers new perspectives, who has a different take on things. I like talking to people who have seen the world and who have carved their own opinions about it as they go along.  This is probably most of my friends are a bit off, out of the norm, or weird. (wuv wuv, friends). But them being different, that’s the reason why I like them. Different = Unique. Normal = Boring. There are nights when I can’t sleep because I’m scared that I’m being eaten up by the shadows and becoming indistinguishable from other people around me.  I especially like it when someone who’s seen the world still has a faith in humanity and how each one of us can contribute in the world. There are nights when I stay up worried that I’ll one day lose my faith in the world and wouldn’t want to get off the bed. I’m scared that I won’t have people around me to appreciate the world with; people who’ll challenge my ideas and ideologies; people who just don’t just let life pass them by. I want to be drunk with people, love, and life.

Yes, I am weird that way but then again, those might be the reason why I am interesting to get to know too as well. Just saying. 😉

PS: I’m the fish in the vodka bottle okay? heh (:

smiling to perfection.

girls are always concerned of their weight, their outfit, their body shape. yet, sometimes, even the prettiest lady in the most expensive and exquisite clothes are still not beautiful. sadly, more often than not, what’s missing is just a simple smile – the most important accessory of all. a smile that says you have hope that tomorrow will be better than today. a smile which shows you find beauty in small things, even the annoying ones that cause people dismay. that smile you have after selflessly helping a stranger in a busy street. the smile you have after wrapping a just-thought-of-you gift. a smile that shows your joy. a smile that shows you’re capable of love. a smile which can brighten up other people’s day. a smile that stays on your face come what may.

then, that’s all. you can wipe off that mascara, that thick layer of make-up, and the frown on your face. and you’re all set to catch the eyes of the cutie in town.

because, beauty… is not just skin deep.
