to the future corporate me,

Be irreplaceable. Don’t be the boring jane sitting in one of those cubicles at work. Always sticking your nose to the paperwork will accomplish the task, but it won’t get you the job satisfaction you should be getting. You know? The “meaning” behind that mundane job. Oh, don’t let it be mundane. Do something crazy. Do something that will get you noticed. Don’t stick to the norm. Those are the rules–be the exception!! The slow, safe, sure path may be secured but it’s won’t you as far as if you were unique, original, and one-of-a-kind in the industry. Think of Mike Jagger, Neil Patrick Harris, Ellen de Generes, Barack Obama. Work in an environment where you can shine and stand out. If you get fired, look at it as one way of your work being noticed but, perhaps, your creativity and ideas may just not suit them. Wear high heels to boost your ego and strut your stuff again. Keep the zest in you. It may be a rollercoaster ride but the heights you will reach will be higher than any merry-go-round. (:

Yours sincerely,
Post-i’ll-make-it-out-there-in-the-world-chick-flick me.
